Conship recognized the need to ensure that all their Local Vendors and suppliers benefit from its approach to doing business.
To facilitate this agenda, the company organized training on Governance and Compliance at Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra on Friday 5th January, 2018. Training topics included Basic Business Management regulations, Overview of Governance and Compliance, Business Ethics, Anti-bribery and Business Sustainability.
Vendors from different industries participated and the goal was to improve their business processes and ethics to meet the international standards that Conship is working with. The Vendors were represented by key staff including some business owners. It is expected that the impact of this training will reflect on the way the Vendors conduct their business and the services they render to Conship.
The CEO of Conship - Dr. Vasnani advised all present to share what they learned with their colleagues. He also shared his vision to organize more trainings to develop the Local companies to meet international standards.
